Bijolai Palace is renowned for its architectural beauty and historical significance. The Palace, located near Kaylana Lake in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. It is one of the oldest palaces in Jodhpur, dating back to 1859 when it was built by Maharaja Takhat Singh as his summer residence. Ducks gracefully swimming in the nearby Kaylana Lake enhance the scenic beauty of this magnificent palace. The sprawling grounds of Bijolai Palace boast lush green lawns adorned with cast iron tables and chairs where fragrant roses bloom in abundance. Over the years, it has been transformed into a heritage resort in Jodhpur by the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage. In 2004, HH Maharaja Gaj Singh, the present Maharaja of Jodhpur-Marwar, made a significant gesture by gifting the Bijolai Palace to the Jal Bhagirathi Foundation (JBF).

A non-profit organisation is dedicated to providing drinking water solutions to communities in the Thar Desert region, which faces water scarcity challenges. The Palace boasts a prestigious history of hosting esteemed dignitaries, among them were Crown Princess of Sweden, King Charles along with numerous others. On 10th August 2023, JBF and VBRI Foundation formed a collaborative alliance to inaugurate the International Institute of Water (often referred to as Water University). This esteemed institution is nestled within the JBF Water Resource Center at the historic Bijolai Palace in Jodhpur.
